I was in a silly mood today, trying to de-stress from the challenges of writing REO offers, so this is just for fun. Being new to Active Rain, all of the information just mills through my head all day long. So much to take in! So much innovation! So many changes!
It is an exciting time to be in real estate!
It is the new millennium , we must adapt or fold
Big-book listings and pay phone booths have become a way of old
Buzz words flutter ‘midst our heads , we struggle to align
Facebook, MySpace, Active Rain - YouTube and Docu-sign
We listen to our Ipods as we Bluetooth with our “sphere”
Sipping Starbucks as we twitter to … fans of Britney Spears?
Mailing newsletters just isn’t Green – do you use send out cards?
We aim to get referral leads with blogs that get gold starred
What is this game called, Foursquare – Don’t you need a “ball’?
And who thought SKYPE would usher in the face-to-face phone call?
It is an age of progress, we must as REALTORS adapt the lore
Or go the way of ancients and the mighty dinosaur
Go get yourself a blackberry, a notebook and a droid
Network with the “Rainers” -- let their “groundwater” fill the void
