Cara-You are so right about this being a good time to buy for those with good credit. Lenders do have money to lend, and although buyers have to share more information about their credit worthiness than in the recent pass, loans are there to be had. Congrats on the 300K, although I know you're not in this for points.

Cara, I've always liked the southwest style.  Once these neighborhoods have some landscaping, it will change the look even more.

Cara - Southwest homes and landscaping styles are growing in California.  I'm happy to see homeowners embracing the regional climate as watering expanses of green lawns will soon be a by-gone trend.

Wow - I don't know why this one got featured, but gosh...thanks!  Just trying to get the word out about some fantastic neighborhood deals in Marana and Tucson.  These homes pictured above are newer construction, popping up in the past year to fill in the gaps left by the mass construction of 2005 and 2006. So, they are a bit bare...which is why I shared the "mature" photos of two of the common areas.  It really is a lovely, lovely community with pride of ownership.

Wayne - I know some of my buyers get very upset over the difficulties of obtaining a mortgage now, but we don't want a repeat of our last EASY credit fiasco, so the guidelines and rules have piled up.  A little patience reaps large reward!!

Michael - when you compare the price per sq. foot average (around $79) for newer homes...it's really worth a close look!

Liz and Bill - I love looking at the styles geographically.  A personal favorite besides vintage east coast are the brick beauties around Dallas-Ft. Worth!  I will always lean personally towards old world, but the SW neighborhood homes have their own unique charm.

Silvia - right you are...these are just babies!

Norma - when I first moved here, I was amused by watching folks rake their rock yards.  (Because I came from Green Bay, WI)  Now, I am always surprised by a green grass lawn!  At least they are kept so with reclaimed water sources!
