Wow. You are making me hungry. Sounds like a great festival. Enjoy.
Cara - That just sounds and looks yummy. I've never heard of a taco festival before.
$2 a taco? I may just have to fly to Tucson to take advantage of that!
Okay. And now I'm hungry! I so would love to go to this! Too bad we're too far away! Nice localism post!

The Tuscon Taco Festival looks yummy.. Wish I was closer.. I would be lining up for some delicious tacos. Hope there is a huge turnout.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing comments! I have enjoyed the Tucson and Marana Food truck events this early spring - trying all kinds of interesting fare. I bet this will be another opportunity for some one-of-a-kind Mexican cooking!
I remember the first time I savored a Prickly Pear Margarita, during a weekend visit to the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
It was delightful to drink and fun to watch the chef cooking burgers outside, while tossing little scraps to the hungry roadrunners. Sadly though, Wile E. Coyote never showed up during that visit.
Hi Cara--I lived in Tucson fro 8 years and don't remember this event. Now I want to come back and go to it--I love tacos! Sounds like a lot of fun.
Mmmmm! That looks good. I wonder if they do mail order? :-)
Nice local post. I love the pictures. I am sure it will be well attended.
We were just remembering what tacos where like when I grew up in the 70's....they've come a long way baby!
The Tuscon Taco Festival sounds like a BLAST to me! Wish I could be there! I love tacos!!
I am taking the red eye and Cara and her family eat for free.....pass the cilantro please...
Wish I had the time to go down there. It sounds like it is great fun for all.
Cara, I wonder if my Sister and her Husband know about this. They live in Tucson. I will send them a link.
Hi Cara, sounds like a fun event. I hope you get a chance to go.

Sounds like fun to me!
Cara-That's an event I'd really like to attend. I've recently tried fish tacos, which on the surface sounds not too great an idea, but now I've come to appreciate all manner of tacos.
