Tucson Homes with Acreage

In showing properties these past couple of weeks, and in holding open houses, I've become aware of a recent trend that might include you, the reader.

Tucson Homes with Acreage

I'm finding more and more folks just want a bit of space, so land around their properties.  It can be within city limits, or even a rural drive - but the most common request I've had lately is for a bit of privacy.

I held this lovely home open yesterday in the Oro Valley Country Club Subdivision.

I've shown this listing along Oasis Road in NW Tucson, just five minute off I-10.

I've personally viewed many of these Marana ranches and properties.

I currently have two listings with a bit of space around them:

6670 N Pilgrim Springs Place in the North Foothills of Tucson, on .33 acres.

10000 Orange Ranch Road, NW Tucson on 4.77 acres

It's a constant battle between wanting space but not too much space to have to mow...

Hi Sandy - That's the "border" between AZ and Mexico, as well as the Chiracahua Mountains!

Lynda...here we just rake...unless we're a golf course...lol

Cara,

did you say, 'bit' of space?  These look like they have miles of open space. For me, more than an acre is too much and too remote, but I'm a city guy.

That's one of the great things about the USA, if you want space, there are places where you can get it, and if you like densely populated urban centers you can have those too.

If you love the desert and to be away from the populated city, these are really great. Also, around Tucson you can buy land itself for a rather cheap price if you prefer to build your own home. But there are also really nice areas north of Tucson where nice homes with plenty of space can be purchased. Just be warned, if you have a dirt road you will be staying at home during monsoon season when it turns into a stream of mud with arroyos running across it! I personally prefer the city suburbs more, but if you like being out in the desert wilderness, go for it!
