SWDesertHomes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Vail & More!: Blogging Insomnia

Blogging Insomnia

It's interesting how one can get up in the middle of the night, too many ideas whirling around, and decide to write a blog.

There in the dark, just a couple of cats available for company, you get to thinking you're all alone in the world, typing away at your typewriter.

Cats and Blogging

You push the "POST" button, and not but few minutes later get a notification that fifty other people have already read your latest blog post.

We're not alone at all.

Somewhere, out there, someone else is plugging away on their computer as well.  Or working the night shift, or perhaps gets up really, really, early...maybe lives in France...who knows.  But they're reading your early morning musings.

Gee, I hope I used spell check.

:)

Thanks for reading.

You're not alone.  I typically wake up in the middle of th enight with ideas swirling around my head.  As soon as I write them down or type them out, Im ready to go back to bed.

Cara, I have issues in the middle of the night too, but restrain from getting out of bed.    Love your kitties!

You've given me a great idea for when I have insomnia . . .!

The cats in the photo look cozy. I agree that blogging can help with insomnia. Getting some of those ideas down on paper (so to speak) can provide some relief. Thanks for sharing.

I should try that. Instead I get up and read for a while - or have a 2 a.m. snack. I'm trying to put on some pounds, so snacking in the night makes me feel virtuous.

If it's an idea that wakes me instead of just a goofy habit of being awake in the middle of the night, I do stop and write it down. Sometimes in the morning what I wrote makes no sense - but I wrote it!

Then if I still can't go to sleep I turn on the CD player on low with someone talking - sometimes the droning on puts me to sleep.

Love your kitties...

What a great photo, Cara! Cats have that way about them, don't they? It's often interesting to see who is writing, and reading, when. 24/7!!

That's right Cara, you are certainly not alone.  Many of us can't sleep for one reason or another.  Me, I'm like you with too many thoughts in my head.  Great post.

Sometimes when I can't sleep, I will think about various blog topics to write about and go over pertinent points in my mind. However, have never gotten out of bed to write one!
