SWDesertHomes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Vail & More!: I am Wide-Eyed before Everything Wonderful

I am Wide-Eyed before Everything Wonderful

To me, the only way to negate all of the fake stories, alarmism, pessimism, and just plain awful news events out there and great each day with a fresh start is to focus on the things that give me hope, or that bring me joy.

Happiness Optimism Hope

About thirty years ago, a friend of mine named James shared some words I recently came across in a box of mementos.

They especially resonated with me and I wanted to share them with you.

     Humility teaches me everything.

     I open myself,

I open my ears to listen

I open my eyes to see

...I am wide-eyed before everything wonderful.

For today, I hope you can be wide-eyed before everything wonderful.

Happy November folks.  2017 is rolling to a close

And to James (whom I called Green Eyes)....I remember you dearly my friend. Thank you for the inspiration.

I love that quote, Cara!  I think difficult times require us to be a little kinder to ourselves and others. . .And yes, to be wide-eyed before everything wonderful!

Hi Cara-this is good for all of us to remember. Now more than ever, we need to focus on the positive and all that we have. We need to learn to appreciate all individuals for who they are.

Those are wonderful words that your friend James shared with you. This is another way to say we need to be in the moment. Enjoying and learning everything we can.
